New call for tenders under the Ukraine Energy Support Fund procurement now open!
The procurement of the equipment necessary to conduct emergency repairs of the Ukrainian energy system continues. Earlier in January, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine approved support requests by 30 energy companies under the Ukraine Energy Support Fund for the procurement of essential energy equipment at an estimated value of over EUR 107 million.
The Ministry's decision marks the starting point for the procurement procedure. Starting 25 January, a number Request for Quotations now call for offers on fuels, power transformers, shunt reactor, regulating (booster) transformers, circuit breakers and diverse voltage transformers. Others will follow swiftly. Given the urgency, the submission deadline for offers is 20 February.
Tetra Tech ES, Inc., acts as procurement agent for the Ukraine Ministry of Energy and the Energy Community Secretariat. Tetra Tech selects the supplier and negotiates the terms and conditions of the contracts between vendors and Ukrainian energy companies. The Energy Community Secretariat, acting as manager of the Fund, pays for the goods and/or services in line with the procedures of the Fund.
