Short description of the overall project

The objective of the District Heating Energy Efficiency Project is to improve the energy efficiency and quality of service of selected Ukrainian DH companies, improve their financial viability and decrease their CO² emissions.
 

Short description of activities financed by the donation

The Ukraine District Heating Energy Efficiency (DHEE) project consists of two components:

• Energy Efficiency Investments (326.5 mil. USD): This component will increase the efficiency of participating utilities, reduce their costs, enhance the reliability of their services, and improve the quality of heat supply.
• Technical Assistance and Capacity Building (5.5 mil. USD): TA and Capacity Building Component will finance the technical assistance to Minregion, which will oversee project implementation.
