Short description of the overall project

Project’s objective is to improve energy management in Ukrainian industry by promoting widespread implementation of energy management systems (EnMS) complying with international energy management system standard ISO 50001.

Short description of activities financed by  the donation

Project is implemented through 4 main components:

• Policy and institutional support for the introduction of a national energy management system standard corresponding to ISO 50001
• Building the national capacity on the planning, implementation & certification of energy management systems and system optimization
• Technology diffusion and deployment to promote implementation of energy management systems in selected industrial sectors
• Monitoring and evaluation
