Short description of the overall project

The Project aims to support members of parliament and the relevant parliamentary committees (specifically, on Environmental Policy, Nature Resources Utilization and Elimination of the Consequences of Chornobyl Catastrophe, and on the Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety) with high-quality analytical support for drafting legislation, organizing stakeholder consultations and round tables, creating communication products, and engaging various stakeholders in sustainable energy and environment issues.


Short description of activities financed by the donation

  • development of analytical papers, articles and other informational notes on various SEE issues;
  • creation and dissemination of policy briefs, policy papers, statements, etc.;
  • analysis of draft legislation, strategies and plans for implementation of the state policy in SEE area;
  • organization of national and regional public as well as capacity-building events, involving Parliament members, Government representatives and think-tanks (discussions, round tables, meetings, public hearings).
