Short description of the overall project

In November 2020, OeEB signed a EUR 15m bilateral credit line with DOO Hidroenergija Montenegro - Berane, Montenegro. The purpose of the financing is the development and construction of small hydroelectric power plants in Montenegro as well as the covering of supplier and debt bridging financing.

Short description of activities financed by the donation

The aim of the financing is to support the expansion of renewable energy resources in Montenegro, which not only contributes to ensuring ecological sustainability, but also to securing the energy supply and further economic development of Montenegro.
