Short description of the overall project

The overall objective of the project, of which this contract will be part of,  is to support Serbia in reforming energy policy by meeting EU Acquis through enhanced strategic planning.

The specific objective of the project is to improve energy policy to contribute to Europe 2020 energy strategy.

Short description of activities financed by  the donation

• Result 1: Improved capacities for energy planning within Ministry of Mining and Energy (MoME) through the development of a tool for energy planning (energy system modelling and energy projections).
• Result 2: Improved the capacity of  MoME for preparation of relevant documents for energy planning, through trainings and  relevant Reports.
• Result 3: Improved the capacity of  MoME for the monitoring of energy policy.
