Short description of the overall project

The project is planned to support the Ministry for Regional Development, Construction and Municipal Services of Ukraine for EEF and a climate reforms in close coordination with IMF, World Bank, EU and UNDP.

Short description of activities financed by the donation

The project is planned to intervene through four main components:

• Overall Coordination and Knowledge Management: GIZ will closely coordinate with IFC, World Bank, EU, UNDP
• Advice on HUS Subsidy Reform: Project Cycle Management (PCM) Introduction
• Capacity Development for the technical functions of the EEF
• Capacity Development of Regional Actors and Pipeline Development: 100 energy auditors will be trained in 5 cities
