Director Lorkowski and First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko take stock of the development of the National Energy and Climate Plan

On 23 October Director Artur Lorkowski held a meeting with First Vice-Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko. During the meeting the parties among other topics, addressed the progress in development of National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP), corporate governance reform and Ukraine’s readiness for CBAM. 

The parties discussed also steps necessary to incentivize investments needed in Ukraine for both rebuilding and decarbonization objectives by establishing a stable regulatory framework aligned with the EU standards in the energy sector, in particular in renewables.
