Director Kopač on working visit to Serbia

Director Janez Kopač travelled to Belgrade, Serbia, this week to meet with the country’s political leadership. The Director met with President Aleksandar Vučić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlović, Minister for Environment Irena Vujović and Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimović. He also addressed the Serbian Parliament’s Committee responsible for energy.

Director Kopač discussed the latest developments in the field of energy and climate and raised open issues in terms of the country’s acquis implementation. 

As Serbia holds the 2021 Energy Community Presidency, additional discussions were held on the Presidency programme and main initiatives.

A joint press conference with Deputy Prime Minister Mihajlović took place.
