3rd Energy Community Competition Forum in cooperation with Concurrences
The Energy Community Forum “Competition Law in the Energy Sectors” will take place next week for the third time. It is organised in cooperation with Concurrences, one of the leading publishing houses dedicated to antitrust law and competition economics.
The conference “Competition Law in the Energy Sectors” will present three fascinating panels on recent topics of competition law. The first panel will focus on the interplay between competition policy and industrial policy. It will discuss forms of strategic partnership, with the prominent example of the Battery Alliance, as well as draw on the Chinese experience of creating national champions. The second panel will touch on several aspects of the energy transition and the role of the legal framework and communities. Finally, the last panel will discuss the review of the Energy and Environmental State Aid Guidelines and the lessons learnt so far.
