ANRE and Moldovagaz ask the Secretariat’s Dispute Resolution and Negotiation Centre to facilitate discussions on costs associated with technical losses in gas distribution

The determination and recognition of costs associated with technical losses in the gas distribution tariffs has been an unresolved issue in the Moldovan gas sector for almost a decade. To resolve this issue, ANRE, the Moldovan regulator, and Moldovagaz, as holding company of the distribution companies in Moldova, requested the Centre to facilitate discussions on this matter and committed to make their best efforts to find a solution within a short time. Branislava Marsenic Maksimovic, gas expert in the Secretariat, will act as facilitator. All three parties have signed a Memorandum to that effect.
