Jump start your energy future - Apply for the Energy Community Summer School programme
The Secretariat is delighted to launch today the call for applications for the 5th edition of the Energy Community Summer School. This year’s Summer School will take place from 22 August to 29 August 2020 at the Masaryk University Centre in Telc, Czech Republic, a UNESCO world cultural heritage site.
The Summer School specifically targets highly motivated postgraduate students (masters or PhD), researchers from all energy-related disciplines, young professionals from governmental institutions, companies, think tanks and NGOs from the Energy Community Region. The full programme will be available soon.
Why apply?
- Knowledge outcome – participants will better understand the science, policy and regulation of energy markets in transition. They will understand the challenges behind the implementation of European aspects of energy law and regulation and be able to combine different disciplines and approaches underpinning energy-related projects and reforms.
- ECTS credits - the Energy Community Summer School is accredited in accordance with the European Credit Transfer System. Students participating in the Summer School will have a chance to earn 3 ECTS points.
- Experience abroad - studying in a different country is a great experience, which is important for the job market etc. You will get to know the countries of the Energy Community, their culture and people in addition to their energy sectors.
Participation in the Summer School is free of charge. Please follow the link below to apply. The application deadline is 31 March 2020 (midnight CET). The Summer School will again be open to up to five participants from outside the Energy Community Region.
The Summer School is organized by the Energy Community Secretariat in cooperation with the Višegrad Fund. This year, it will be hosted by Masaryk University, Brno.
