High-level panel on EU legislation as a stimulus for enhanced climate ambition in the EU neighborhood

Energy Community Secretariat would like to welcome you to the High-level panel with representatives from DG CLIMA, ministers of Contracting Parties of the Energy Community and the Director of the Energy Community Secretariat, which will focus on showcasing how the EU climate and energy acquis has led to enhanced targets, and as a result, to increased climate ambition of Contracting Parties.

Panelists will share their experience on how the implementation of EU legislation has structured  their work on climate action (drafting NECPs, LTS, reporting) and has overall contributed to a deeper understanding and commitment to mitigating climate change. An exchange of views will also take place on the challenges and benefits of such a process, focusing on interlinkages with other EU legislation.
