Please be invited to the fourth session of the Energy Community Summer School’s Webinar Series. In the course of this series, representatives of the faculty, alumni and other friends of the Summer School will share their particular insight and experience with you, and invite you for a discussion in the spirit of the Summer School.

About the topic: NREAPs, NEEAPs, NERPs, NECPs… These abbreviations refer to national energy plans, which have become more encompassing and integrated over the years. The plans envisage a comprehensive framework of policies and measures for achieving different goals and targets related to energy, environment and climate. How did the governance of these national plans change in the European Union and the Energy Community? What if one country does not implement adopted measures, or fails to achieve the targets? What are the means of enforcement of national energy plans and targets? In their presentations, Biljana Grbić and Lisse van Vliet will aim to answer these questions, focusing on the national Renewable Energy plans and targets, as well as enforcement instruments that can be used for ensuring achievement of the set national goals.

Initiated by the Energy Community Secretariat in autumn 2015, the Energy Community Summer School aims to promote the development of participants’ competences in all topics related to energy through a dedicated multi-disciplinary programme.
